Located in Banjol on the Island Rab in Croatia’s Kvarner Bay, Guest House Gordana is warmly inviting you to our family holiday home in which we have been running our holiday apartments since 1983 and still look forward to welcoming our guests every year.

The holiday home is located approximately in the middle of Rab, it is about a 3-minute walk to the sea.

For all of our Boaters, there is also the possibility of a pier place or mooring place close by.

Within a 5 km radius you can explore and enjoy a variety of beautiful, secluded beaches.

History:

Family Krstačić started off as a tourist acccommodation provider in 1983, when the first Apartment and Rooms were built, on land with a small family house consisting of one apartment in Banjol, where Gordana (Goga) and her mother Slavica Debelić (Ćaka) lived. After marriage with Milan Krstačić and receiving their firstborn son, backed by a loan from the incresingly overbooked “Hotel Bor”, a once very popular Hotel in former Yugoslavia, now a ruin, across the street, the family House was built.

Managing, breakfasts, cleaning, customer care and further investment was all mainly done by our late mother, Gordana with the support of her husband, our father, Milan and the kids, Slavko, Toni and Paulo.

Her work was valued by our beloved guests, some of which are returning every year for more than 40 years.

The house grew bigger as time and investment allowed throughout the years, with the biggest addition being in 2008, the 2 new Apartments on the second floor and later remodeling of the 1st floor, which allowed for 2 additional Studio Apartments. So too, grew the garden, now boasting a brick grillhouse, garden terrace and lots of fresh fruits.

In 2012, after the unfortunate passing of Gordana, the business continued without it’s most valuable caretaker, and was then runned by Milan.

The formerly unnamed business has received a name, to commemorate and pay respect to the founder, visionary and a mother - “Guest House Gordana”.

Sonja Perčinić, now Sonja Krstačić has joined a few years later and has been running the business alongside Milan ever since.

As the years went by, in 2024, the time has come for the family business to be taken over by one of the sons, Paulo.
